More about the role:
JOB PURPOSE:                          
Responsible of setting up all catering facilities at Twickenham Stadium. Setup includes heavy lifting and moving. To undertake a comprehensive range of general and departmental tasks to the required standards to support the efficient and smooth running of the venue in line with contractual requirements. Ensuring all tasks are carried out with due regard to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations and that all areas of responsibility are kept consistently clean, maintained.  
ACCOUNTABILITIES: 
  • To be polite, professional and friendly at all times with customers, clients and colleagues
  • To ensure the highest level of customer care is adhered to at all times
  • To demonstrate a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations
  • Promote Twickenham Experience Ltd (TEL) at all times and act as a TEL/Compass advocate
  • To always look out for opportunities to develop our service.
  • As part of our commitment for continuous improvement and innovation, all colleagues are encouraged to seek ways to improve work activities and promote efficiency
  • To ensure all areas are set to the highest standards and in line with client requirements
  • To make sure you are aware of, and meet the legal and Company requirements for fire, safety, health and hygiene
  • To break down areas as required, ensuring all standards are adhered to and areas are left in an acceptable standard
  • To report health and safety issues to your line manager, including all accidents and near misses
  • To promote good safety habits and methods of work
  • Respond to the pace of the business in terms of speed of work and productivity
  • To ensure all linen requirements are distributed and collected accordingly throughout the stadium  
  • To clean all work areas during and after use and remove all waste to the appropriate area
  • To observe and comply with all company and unit procedures relating to cash handling and security, reporting any issues to your line manager
  • To operate machinery as shown and trained to do so, ensuring that the equipment is used safely and in accordance with current regulations and company policies  
  • To report any equipment faults/damage to property as appropriate
  • To keep all areas used for storage in an acceptable standard
  • To clean machinery as required and in line with company standards and policies
  • To accept and check appropriate deliveries and ensure items are stored as required.
  • To ensure all hired equipment is accounted for, checked on delivery, made ready for collection and checked prior to leaving site
  • To ensure all cleaning and disposable products are stored correctly and used in accordance with training given
  • To carry out stock counts of equipment/items as required and in line with timelines set
