About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Youth Justice Service on a one year fixed term basis as a part time (22.5 Hours) Business Officer. This is a fast paced, interesting and varied role which will include proofing court reports, processing court outcomes, attending youth court on a rota basis, along with supporting the service with finance tasks and minuting of meetings.
There will be a mixture of office and home working for this role.
You will be based in Wisbech but will be required to travel to Huntingdon on occasion to attend youth court.
Interviews will be held in Wisbech on Thursday 14th March 2024.

You will need to be flexible in your approach to work, as this is a varied role. You will need good administration skills and the ability to prioritise as this is a fast paced role.
You will be expected to work on your own initiative, keep calm under pressure and work to deadlines. You should have a methodical and concise approach to tasks and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. You will need a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft packages (Word and Excel) and be able to use databases and in house software.
