About the role

At Sodexo we are passionate about food and we know when it’s served with a smile it can brighten up the dullest of days. We are looking for an Evening Chef to join our family at Toyota Burnaston

As the go to person, you’ll bring your flair in the kitchen! You’ll be responsible for preparing and serving the most vibrant and nutritious dishes! We want our colleagues and vistors to get a home from home feel when they smell the delightful aromas which will fill the restaurant

A few things about you 

When you join us we want you to bring your undeniable communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and your ability to work under pressure!

Your knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene,  Level 2 NVQ chef qualification (or equivalent) and your previous experience will certainly keep the kitchen ticking along!

It would be great if you had experience of working with a corporate environment but, don’t worry if not, as we would still love to hear from you!

Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow so good knowledge of HACCP, COSHH procedures and Food Hygiene Regulation is vital. 

You will be responsible for the food prep and cooking for the evening shift

Following all food saftey regulations and HACCP requirements such as tempreture monitoring 

Custmer service and taking cashless payment

Health and saftey requirements

Responsible for one member of staff

Able to work on own initiative
