The company caters more than 1,000,000 meals a week. We are looking for an experienced Chef Manager who wants to ensure our future generations are provided with nutritionally balanced and tasty food. We serve thousands of meals every day across the UK and want this exceptional service to our schools and colleges to continue.
A vacancy is pending for a dynamic, energetic and experienced Primary School Chef Manager at a lovely village school, St Hedda's Primary School, Egton Bridge, Nr. Whitby. Catering for pupils and the Nursery for approx. 50 meals per day. This position is a work alone so candidates must be self-sufficient, reliable and not fazed by working alone in the kitchen.
Main duties will include:
- Using fresh ingredients to make good, quality food
- Implement the Company Health & Safety and Food Safety Policies and Adhere to COSHH regulations at all times
- Cooking and preparation of high quality meals for potentially large volumes of pupils.
- Extensive food knowledge with the ability to cook and present fresh food to a consistently high standard
- Complete all company bookwork in a timely manner
