We are looking for someone to provide administrative support to the central team responsible for purchasing end-of-life vehicles (ELV) and working with the regional ELV teams to ensure vehicles are delivered and processed in a timely manner.
- Updating contracts and checking agreed pricing
- Requesting information from new customers where required to ensure organised collection/ drop off and swift payment
- Receiving requests from customers and booking collections from around the UK using internal teams or systems
- Management of team emails and telephone queries
- Daily checks of purchasing information
- Ad-hoc administration tasks
- Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
- Good IT skills are required e.g. excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience in dealing with customers including members of the public
- Must be able to respect the confidentiality of customer and supplier account information
- Must be able to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work as a part of a team, and also alone using your own initiative
- Good listening, written and verbal communication skills (Essential)
- Very strong attention to detail, especially with regards to the processing of bank details
- Should be able to learn quickly about the business and have a willingness to learn and progress
