Contract Inventory Planner I – Lachine, Montreal

We are currently seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join us as a Contract Inventory Planner.

The Contract Inventory Planner I is accountable for administrating the receipt and processing of the customer scans, releases and purchase orders; monitoring inventory levels at the Central Distribution Facility (CDF) and Forward Stocking Location (FSL) and providing support to Program Managers and FSL employees in order to fulfill the contract requirements.

The Contract Inventory Planner I is responsible for maintaining ongoing communication and providing status updates to customers and internal partners (on-site program managers, sales, purchasing and shipping departments) in order to develop and maintain a positive working relationship.

About you

Contract Inventory Planner I shall be responsible for coordinating basic level contracts that meet, but are not limited to the following requirements: a. 1-500 standard hardware part numbers b. Minimal customer portal interface c. No Special Inspection required d. No kits e. Minimal volume/complexity customer reports only

· Prioritize and process incoming scans, releases and purchase orders and monitor them to ensure they ship on schedule.

· Coordinate the contract review process for LTA contracts, as applicable.

· Audit customer purchase orders to ensure PO compliance prior to release of shipment

· Coordinate replenishment for contract to ensure contract inventory planning is satisfied to ensure 0 stock outs by reviewing the Replenishment Workfile to determine when inventory needs to be purchased or transferred

· Communicate requirements to Purchasing and Material Support to ensure sustained inventory levels at the Central Distribution Facility (CDF) and Forward Stocking Location (FSL)

· Communicate order and delivery status to internal/external customers. Foster excellence in writien and verbal communication. with external and internal customers.

· Coordinate all backorders to closure, to ensure order fulfillment. Support root cause initiatives to attain a level of 0 backorders.

· Update bin records aaccurately and timely for business needs.

· Run open order reports daily to ensure open orders ship on schedule

· Act as account managers to ensure flow of parts to meet customer deliveries on time. Strive for 95% or better on-time delivery.

· Support and attend customer program review and coordinate with internal teams on action items

· Ensure the highest level of customer service to support Wesco's Voice of the Customer initiative

· Participate in green belt assigned projects to support departmens improvement initiatives

Education and Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years relevent experience in contract support; some college coursework preferred.

· Experience

Previous work experience in customer service, distribution and/or planning, preferrably within the aerospace industry

Demonstrated ability to successfully learn and perform Contract Administration Support duties and entry-level training

Ability to learn and understand the Just In Time (JIT) supply process and contract administration

Ability to understand contract language and requirements.

· Qualifications

Ability to understand and interpret contractual requirements

Ability to be self motivated, well organized/ detailed oriented

Ability to be a creative problem solver and serve as an information liaison

Ability to perform accurate and thorough data entry functions, web-based and integrated experience is a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact directly with customers Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, with an emphasis on Excel
