Are you an experienced Credit Controller, looking for your next challenge?
Here at Booker we are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our busy Finance Team of 5, based in Manchester.
This role covers a high value ledger, comprised of large Groups/National Accounts, which are subject to a high level of focus from Senior Level Executives.
The role offers flexibility with hybrid working; 3 days in our office in Eccles, Manchester and 2 days working from home.

- Managing your own ledger and accounts
- Providing query resolution, cash allocation and chasing payment by phone and letter.
- Prioritising work load, utilising time management ability to produce reports.
- Meeting critical deadlines, in accordance with financial periods.
- Supporting the other 4 Credit Controllers within the team when necessary.

- Excellent communications skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A polite, however tenacious approach.
- Intermediate IT skills, including Excel to perform reconciliations and produce reports.
- Logical and methodical way of working to ensure financial deadlines are met.
- Experience of SAP is desirable, however full training will be given.
- To be a supportive Team Player.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach.
Shift Hours: 37.5 hrs per week (Monday – Friday)
