We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Dispatcher to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

- Responsible for receiving calls, ensuring all relevant information is obtained, in a polite and courteous manner.
- Prioritise calls according to their degree of urgency.
- Record details promptly and accurately using the computerised database.
- Provide information on call volumes to the Catering Manager.
- Ensure reactive calls are directed to the correct department for attention.
- Carry out general administrative duties, as required by Catering Manager.
- Act as receptionist for department, as required.
- The post holder will be required to work at Peterborough City Hospital PFI.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Catering manager or other appropriate senior manager.
- Good communication skills with a pleasant personality.
- Ability to obtain maximum useful information from the caller.
- Experience in the use of a computer, with good keyboard skills.
- The post holder may be required to provide some cover for annual leave and sickness. Therefore, the successful applicant must have a flexible attitude and be a good team player.
