Are you a seasoned inspirational and creative Head Chef with a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Head Chef to be the driving force behind one of our acclaimed independent school’s culinary program. 

Nestled in the heart of Bushey, St. Margaret’s is a prestigious independent school and one of our key contracts in the area. We provide a comprehensive range of food services, including breakfast, lunch, and supper for boarders and staff, along with an extensive hospitality service. Due to this the site operates 7 days a week, however the role offers plentiful opportunity to work Monday – Friday, ensuring you a well-organised schedule across our team to help you maintain a positive work-life balance.

Job Description

The essential ingredient at the heart of our business is our people so we are searching for an experienced Head Chef/ with a background in exceptional food catering services to join our business and work at one of our highly prestigious education settings.

As a Head Chef your focus is to work closely with your teams to develop a great work relationship and together to provide the best customer service.

As well as having an excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm.



Qualifications

  • Be a proven, hands-on leader, able to invest in your team and their development
  • Be naturally outgoing and vibrant, display a real passion for food and customer service
  • Have excellent Health & Safety knowledge
  • Be financially astute with good understanding of GP calculation and have strong IT literacy
  • Be innovative and creative and driven by excellence
  • Stay up to date with current food trends
