Annual Salary:  £45,000 per annum

Situated in the heart of Bushey, St. Margaret’s is a renowned independent school and one of our flagship contracts in the region. We offer a full range of food services, from breakfast and lunch to supper for boarders and staff, along with an extensive hospitality service. Although the site operates 7 days a week, this role provides ample opportunity to work Monday to Friday, ensuring a well-structured schedule and helping you maintain a positive work-life balance.

Job Description

At the heart of our business is our people, and we’re looking for an experienced Head Chef with a strong background in high-quality catering services to join our team at one of our prestigious educational settings.

As Head Chef, your focus will be on fostering strong relationships within your team to deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll lead by example, working collaboratively to ensure the highest standards are met.

In addition to exceptional presentation, organisational, and communication skills, you’ll bring a genuine passion for food and service, along with enthusiasm and a drive for excellence.



Qualifications

  • Be a proven, hands-on leader, able to invest in your team and their development
  • Be naturally outgoing and vibrant, display a real passion for food and customer service
  • Have excellent Health & Safety knowledge
  • Be financially astute with good understanding of GP calculation and have strong IT literacy
  • Be innovative and creative and driven by excellence
  • Stay up to date with current food trends
