You will be joining an organization that has treated 450,000 people to date and is continuing to scale up.


The Role

We are looking for a Head of Business Intelligence to play a key role in shaping the future of Oviva and improving the health of our patients. You will lead and nurture a dynamic team of BI Analysts while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership to drive data-driven decisions. Your expertise and invaluable insights will not only support the achievement of our strategic objectives but also spearhead the adoption of innovative BI technologies and methodologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a BI strategy in line with Oviva’s goals and objectives.

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a high-achieving BI team, fostering a culture of innovation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to identify data-driven opportunities and challenges.

  • Manage internal as well as external stakeholders, ensuring exceptional business partnerships.

  • Stay current with BI tools, technologies and industry trends and recommend and implement new solutions.

  • Enhance group-wide reporting efficiency – streamline and harmonise reporting procedures, standardise KPI definitions and increase efficiency around report generation pipelines.

  • Promote data literacy – encourage and facilitate an understanding of how to effectively work with data.

  • Establish an exceptional self-service system, to help teams independently work with data to support their tasks and decision making.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; or proven experience working in data analytics.

  • At least 8 years experience excelling in BI/Data Analytics as well as

  • Profound knowledge of visualisation and reporting tools such as Tableau/Looker/PowerBI

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

  • Proficient in SQL: you read and “speak” it fluently.

  • Solid understanding of dbt

  • Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.

  • Strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
