The Role
We are looking for a Head of Business Intelligence to play a key role in shaping the future of Oviva and improving the health of our patients. You will lead and nurture a dynamic team of BI Analysts while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leadership to drive data-driven decisions. Your expertise and invaluable insights will not only support the achievement of our strategic objectives but also spearhead the adoption of innovative BI technologies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a BI strategy in line with Oviva’s goals and objectives.

Lead, mentor and inspire a high-achieving BI team, fostering a culture of innovation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to identify data-driven opportunities and challenges.

Manage internal as well as external stakeholders, ensuring exceptional business partnerships.

Stay current with BI tools, technologies and industry trends and recommend and implement new solutions.

Enhance group-wide reporting efficiency – streamline and harmonise reporting procedures, standardise KPI definitions and increase efficiency around report generation pipelines.

Promote data literacy – encourage and facilitate an understanding of how to effectively work with data.

Establish an exceptional self-service system, to help teams independently work with data to support their tasks and decision making.
About You
-
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; or proven experience working in data analytics.

At least 8 years experience excelling in BI/Data Analytics as well as

Profound knowledge of visualisation and reporting tools such as Tableau/Looker/PowerBI

Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

Proficient in SQL: you read and “speak” it fluently.

Solid understanding of dbt

Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Strategic thinker with a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
