Overview

Salary: £23,893 – £27,334 pro rata for hours and weeks worked

Shift hours: 35 – TTO 39 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake appropriate planning and preparation of lessons for groups and whole classes
  • Deliver agreed lessons and learning experiences to individuals, groups and whole classes as required
  • Report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils to the responsible teacher as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to NVQ 2 or GCSE (A-C grades) in English and Maths;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills including the use of ICT;
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development;
  • Ability to work effectively with and form supportive relationships with pupils;
  • Ability to liaise with teaching staff and provide feedback on pupil performance in lessons;
  • Ability to network with parents and a wide range of support services.
