In a Nutshell

Our ideal Operations Manager will oversee and direct all aspects of the operation at the Hotel under the guidance of the General Manager and ensure that objectives are delivered in line with the business strategy and objectives of the Ansty Hall Hotel.

Role Responsibility

Lots to do, but lots of fun

  • To manage staffing levels across all areas to ensure a constant supply of flexible, multi skilled staff available to deliver consistent service.
  • Deliver all costs within budget, most notably liquor GP, wages and direct operational expenses.
  • To evaluate, update and improve service standards on an on-going basis in line with guest feedback received.
  • To contribute with senior Management Team in the preparation of the hotel’s strategic plan, marketing plan and budget.
  • Offer consistent, high standards of service and assistance to guests and maintain a presence that offers courteous and attentive service.

The Ideal Candidate

Are you right for us?

  • Experience of working at a senior level, managing other departmental heads.
  • Previous experience of running an operational food and beverage department in a quality 4 star property.
  • Understanding of front of house systems and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work different shift patterns – hours as required/weekends.
  • Customer Service experience and commitment to delivering this to a high standard
  • The ability to listen and respond to guest needs
  • Well presented.
