Overview
Booker Group are currently seeking a Data Analyst (IS Analyst – MIS) to join the MIS/Business Objects team. This role will cover key business reporting and data analysis. The IS Analyst will be key to helping deliver quality business reporting and analysis for key stakeholders to help improve cash profit and customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone with experience in Business Intelligence applications and a knowledge of SQL. The successful candidate will bring to the table a good mind for data analysis and reporting and have an eye for detail.

•   Comply with procedures to store and re-use IS equipment effectively and efficiently.
Role Responsibilities:
•   Collaboration with colleagues to extrapolate and analyse data.
•   Proactively work with stakeholders to improve business reporting processes and to maximise system and data utilization in the business.
•   Work with 3rd parties and internal teams to build on automated reporting
•   Work with suppliers and other stakeholders to achieve effective solutions.
•   Work to reliably and efficiently produce timely and accurate management information.

•   Previous experience of working in an IT or Analyst role (ideally at least 2 years of experience in a similar role).
•   Experience in analytics, performing data exploration and designing, specifying and developing business reporting.
•   Good knowledge of Business Intelligence applications (such as SAP Business Objects/Azure/Tableau/Microsoft BI/Power BI).
•   Working knowledge of SQL.
•   Good understanding of data modelling and databases.
•   Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritise workloadÂ
•   Demonstrate attention to detail and an ability to focus on quality of work
•   Possess good analytical skills, be a fast thinker and a good decision makerÂ
•   Good written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate effectively and efficiently with colleagues and suppliers.
•   Proactively engaging with team members, open and transparent approach and an enthusiastic team player
Shift Hours: 38 hrs per week (Monday to Friday)
