Southwark College require a dedicated, enthusiastic and qualified person to take on the role of Lecturer in Computing. This post has been created due to increasing student numbers and a significant investment in IT resources, meaning that Southwark College is looking to expand the size of the IT teaching team
The post holder will teach and manage learning on a range of IT and computing qualifications from E3 to level 3 for both adults and 16-18-year olds. Courses include T -Level, BTEC Level 3 RQF, City and Guilds, OCN and Gateway qualifications. The successful applicant will lead on the delivery of the course and be able to manage learner attendance and progress. Reporting to the Curriculum Manager, you will be committed to promoting excellence in the quality of standards of teaching and learning.
This post requires a strong background in Computer Science and IT related subjects teaching Computing and the candidate must have proven track record of professional / vocational expertise in this sector.
An ability to self-manage workload, meet deadlines alongside strong oral and written communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.
