We are looking for experienced, nurturing and dedicated children’s home support workers, who can provide an outstanding level of childcare and allow our young people to achieve amazing outcomes.
Our Wakefield home is a new solo service, providing therapeutic care for a young person who may initially struggle to live in a larger group home and with other children.

*Estimated salary based on a pay rate of £12.35 to £13.35 per hour for days (depending on qualifications held) and working 8 sleep-nights per month on average (at £60 per sleep night)
What we’re looking for:
- A minimum 12 months experience in a children’s residential care home
- A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or at least 50% complete)
- A Full driving licence issued in the UK
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
- In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
- Values in line with Esland’s, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
