Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with expertise in deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), exceptional analytical and statistical skills, and a deep understanding of experimental design and causal inference methods through academic or industrial research to join our dynamic team at Digitas. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data science solutions and models to drive insights and recommendations for our clients.
Some of the responsibilities of this role are:
- Develop and implement cutting-edge data science models and algorithms using deep learning and NLP techniques to solve complex business problems.
- Apply exceptional analytical and statistical skills to extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
- Design and conduct experiments, applying experimental design and causal inference methods, to measure the impact of various initiatives and strategies.
- Utilize R, Python, and SQL in a multi-developer environment to manipulate, analyze, and visualize data effectively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in version control using Git and collaborate with a team of data scientists in code review and development processes.
- Deploy models and solutions using DevOps/MLOps tools such as Docker, Weight&Biases, and MLflow to ensure scalability and reproducibility.
- Work in a cloud environment with virtual machines (VMs), GPUs, and various data storage technologies across structured and unstructured data.
- Perform advanced data engineering and data cleansing tasks to ensure data quality and reliability.
- Utilize dashboarding software such as Tableau, Streamlit, Looker, or Qlik View to develop interactive and visually appealing data visualizations.
- Communicate complex data topics and projects effectively to stakeholders, tailoring the approach and level of detail based on the audience.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Strong experience working as a Data Scientist, with a focus on deep learning, NLP, and advanced analytics.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in experimental design and causal inference methods through academic or industrial research.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python, as well as SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience working in a multi-developer environment, utilizing Git for version control and collaborative coding.
- Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps tools such as Docker, Weight&Biases, and MLflow for model deployment and management.
- Experience working in a cloud environment, leveraging VMs, GPUs, and various data storage technologies for data processing and analysis.
- Proven expertise in data engineering and data cleansing techniques to ensure data quality.
- Strong proficiency in dashboarding software, including Tableau, Streamlit, Looker, or Qlik View.
- Demonstrated ability to present data topics and projects effectively, tailoring the approach depending on the audience.
