About the role

The Fenland Learning Disability Team have an exciting opportunity for two Senior Social Workers.  These are permanent posts which have become available due to the previous post holders successfully securing progression posts. The posts are for 37 hours per week and 30 hours per week and the office base is in Hereward Hall in March.

The Cambridgeshire Learning Disability Partnership (LDP) brings together specialist health and social care services for people with a learning disability. The LDP is responsible for commissioning and providing these services on behalf of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) and Cambridgeshire County Council.

About you

We are looking for applicants who have a Social Work qualification and are at least 2 years post completion of the ASYE programme. Experience of providing line management support, Making Safeguarding Personal investigations, completing complex case work, including Court of Protection Deprivation of Liberty applications, and experience of using Mosaic database would be desirable. You will also be required to work autonomously as well as supporting other team member as part of multi-disciplinary working with health and social care colleagues.
