37 Hours Per Week and Full Time

The successful candidate will co-ordinate the effective operation of the 3D workshop in the Mandela Building for creative students. They will lead the maintenance of facilities, in line with health and safety requirements and provide supervision and support to learners (Levels 1-7) working in the workshop and to demonstrate the specialist equipment such as laser cutter, engraver, CNC Router and workshop woodworking machinery (Table saw/chop saw/lathe/planers/pillar drills) and to ensure their safe use.
The 3D specialist technician will also co-ordinate the preparation and replenishment of resources utilised within the 3D workshop and to take a lead on the implementation and adherence to specific industry requirements within the department.
