Salary: Up to £40,000
£40-£45K + £3.5K bonus and Car Allowance or Company Car
We are looking for a Sustainability Manager to help deliver and shape our ESG strategy, work with our partner schools to encourage and build sustainable behaviours and manage our Sustainability Education programme for future generations.

REPORTING TO: Food & Sustainability Director
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Help shape and deliver our (and our partner Schools') ESG Strategies.

Management of the team of Sustainability Coordinators whose primary role is to educate pupils within our school in sustainable practices.

Manage the development of pupil educational programmes with the team and deliver them to schools when required.

Advise our partner schools on best practices and work with them to develop action plans to deliver their sustainability strategies including emissions, Supply chain, energy, waste, recycling, packaging, legal compliance etc.

Manage and conduct assessments of our catering operations for schools, identifying areas for improvement and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sustainability progress, reviewing behaviours, infrastructure, logistics and programmes.

Manage our internal ESG programmes and build, deliver and embed new initiatives to support our Strategies.

Manage our food waste systems and programmes.

Manage environmental reporting to both clients and internal stakeholders.

Present to clients both existing and prospective.

Manage stakeholders both internally and externally.
YOU HAVE:

A passion for food

Strong knowledge of sustainability & ESG practices and experience working in this field.

Proven experience in implementing sustainability initiatives, preferably within the food industry.

Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry best practices.

Excellent project management and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
