Team Leadership:

  • Lead, inspire, collaborate and support your team of vending operators to deliver exceptional standards consistently
  • Continually look to develop your team through mentoring, training, recognition, and empowerment

  • Conduct performance evaluations and manage team shift patterns and absences

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of vending machines and smart vending machines across a campus of four different sites
  • Ensure machines are stocked, cleaned, and maintained by your team of operators
  • Perform regular spot checks and audits to ensure high standards are maintained
  • Manage the maintenance and repair of vending machines, coordinating with vendors and maintenance contract providers as necessary
  • Monitor and analyse machine performance data, implementing improvements to maximize efficiency and profitability

Inventory Management:

  • Develop and manage inventory control processes to ensure timely restocking of products and reducing wastage across all areas
  • Work with suppliers to order and maintain optimal stock levels of fresh products, snacks, beverages and other products
  • Work with suppliers to ensure we are keeping costs to a minimum and increase profitability
  • Conduct regular stock and asset audits and reconcile discrepancies

Financial Management:

  • Manage the weekly vending accounts including inputting sales, checking invoices, stock takes and cashing up as required
  • Track sales and revenue, providing regular financial reports to senior management
  • Assist in preparing and managing the vending operations budget
  • Implement cost control measures to optimise profitability

Client Relations:

  • Build positive, credible and collaborative relationships and communication methods with clients and other key stakeholders in the business
  • Address and resolve customer, client and service issues promptly and professionally
  • Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction through regular feedback and service improvements
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to enhance the customer experience
  • Achieve business critical KPI's including Health and Safety, Sustainability, Financial and Governance

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with vending machine technology and maintenance
  • Technical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining vending equipment
  • Familiarity with RAMs and ATA processes preferred but training will be given
  • Previous experience commensurate with role
  • Have a contagious passion for food and customer service
  • You draw satisfaction from managing, training, and supporting a team
  • Financially astute, you are very analytical and know how to create and maintain budgets and drive commercial performance 
  • Excellent delegation and influencing skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and able to work well under pressure
  • Meticulous organisational abilities; high attention to detail
  • Concise and effective verbal and written communication
