Pick Everard are looking for a Fire Safety Lead to join our growing practice, at one of our 15 UK offices. 

Our excellent teams work on a wide variety of schemes as part of a multi-disciplinary practice, delivering Principal Designer and CDM services for a growing list of clients. Venturing into new pathways, we are looking to appoint a Fire Safety Lead to work as part of Pick Everard reporting to the Head of H&S Services and the wider practice. This role will provide internal expertise across Pick Everard, supporting our business in achieving high levels of safety on our projects.

As a senior member of the team, you will be able to add real value and impact within the business. A huge part of the role is delivering services to our clients with the help of your expert knowledge. You will be contributing to business development, ultimately being the driving force in helping move the discipline forward within the industry.

Within the role, you will be in full control and have ownership over your projects; providing you with a great level of autonomy. You’ll become part of a business with an excellent reputation in the industry for client care and quality with a diverse range of industry experts for you to collaborate with and learn from. About You

Our ideal Fire Safety Lead must have: 

  • Engineering or similar qualification,with strong technical experience in fire engineering, design and specification across multiple industries and building types.
  • Knowledge of Building Safety Act requirements and Fire Safety Regulations.
  • 4 + years’ experience in a technical delivery role
It would be nice for you to have:
 
  • 2 + years in a senior/leadership role
  • Relevant qualifications to include; BEng (Hons)
  • IFE membership
  • Experience in being outward facing within an organisation, building strong internal and external relationships
