About the role

Do you want to have a positive impact on the future aspirations and potential of young learners? Do you desire a role where every day is different? Would you like to be one of the contributing reasons that a child engages in their learning or makes a positive decision about their future? If so, we have a rare but exciting opportunity to join our wonderful staff family as a highly valued teaching assistant.

Stretham Community Primary School has strong, purposeful, reciprocal links with our children, teachers, parents and our local community. The children at our school sit front and centre of all we do and we aspire to create a nurturing, inclusive and safe environment for each member of our school family.
The post will allow you to interact with a range of learners, offering the opportunity to have a measurable impact on the learning and development of the children you are working with. There may also be an opportunity to supervise and support children across the school at lunch time; there may also be an opportunity to play a key role in further enhancing our lunchtime provision alongside this.
