Projects and Events Assistant – Salford
Opportunity Overview
We’re looking for a proactive, creative and highly organised individual to join our team and help to deliver exceptional student events. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for enhancing the student experience, plus an enthusiasm for working in the higher education sector. You’ll be responsible for planning and coordinating a range of events, ensuring every element is managed with care and attention to detail. If you’re someone who takes initiative, thrives on collaboration, and enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a range of student events, including celebration events such as award ceremonies, wellbeing initiatives, and inclusive community-building activities.
- Coordinate event logistics and suppliers, managing venues, catering, AV, Health & Safety, and promotional content to ensure seamless, professional and engaging experiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams and students, supporting peer-to-peer initiatives and ensuring events reflect diverse student needs and interests.
- Support the management of budgets and timelines, keeping events on track and within scope while maintaining high standards.
- Monitor event impact and feedback, using insights to improve future activities and contribute to inform continuous improvement and future planning.
