Due to expansion, we are seeking an experienced SEN teacher to support the growth of our Grantham School.

About the Role

Our highly skilled and valued teams support vulnerable young people (ages 8–18) with SEMH needs in a nurturing SEN school environment.  As our SEN teacher, you will:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high quality, engaging lessons across several curriculum subjects
  • Support individual learning plans and EHCP reviews
  • Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and pastoral care, ensuring safeguarding of all young people underpins every decision made 
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies
  • Champion pupil’s voices and wellbeing, ensuring they have agency

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status and relevant degree
  • Demonstrable SEN/SEND/SEMH experience within UK based education
  • Experience of teaching to KS2/KS3/KS4 
  • The ability to teach across a range of curriculum subjects, including English, Maths and Science
  • Passion, resilience and the desire to be a positive role model
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
