Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Jaeger Fashion section, where you’ll become a champion of our stylish products, on-trend designs, and exceptional customer service. We’re looking for passionate and fashion-forward individuals who are excited to dress the nation.
You’ll be a brand ambassador who’s ready to recommend our newest fashion items. Through remarkable service you’ll make sure our customers feel truly valued every time they shop with us.

You’ll utilise our digital tools, such as the Sparks App and in-store devices, to enhance the customer experience and ensure they get the products they want when they need them.

About the Role
As a Jaeger Fashion Sales Associate, you’ll play a key part in creating an inspiring and welcoming shopping experience. You’ll support customers in finding pieces they love, offer styling and outfitting advice, and ensure the Jaeger department always looks its best. Combining the “Art of Selling” with your comprehensive product knowledge, this tailored service approach leads to achieving sales targets as well as repeat customer visits.
The day-to-day will include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service with a personal touch
- Assisting shoppers with product selection, styling tips and outfitting Maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Handling transactions accurately and efficiently supporting inventory processes, restocking, store merchandising

Ideally, they will have
- Previous premium retail or fashion sales experience (preferred, not essential)
- A passion for fashion and a strong sense of personal style
- Natural curiosity of latest fashion trends and designers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to connect with a diverse range of customers
Purpose
To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, we are looking for colleagues who put customers before tasks every time whilst championing and promoting our brilliant products. As the face of the business, you will be the voice of our customers helping us to continually improve.
Key Accountabilities
· Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points
· Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring that our shelves are always stocked with product
· Monitor and deliver on the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
· Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit to store.
· Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services
· We’ll give you the training to utilise all digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time
