Salary: Grade E – £25,183 – £25,992 (full time equivalent)
Hours: 3 mornings (to be agreed), (8 hours, 15 mins per week, initially) – looking to increase over time
Contract: Named pupil contract

The Governors seek to appoint a teaching assistant to work with a Year 3 pupil. The vacancy is a named pupil contract and this position is for three mornings per week. The pupil’s main needs are related to social and emotional health needs.
We’d like a teaching assistant to join us who ………
- Has experience of working with children with SEND needs as detailed above
- Has an ability to encourage positive behaviour, has experience of implementing effective strategies and is fair and consistent
- Is calm and nurturing
- Has good literacy & numeracy skills
- Has high expectations of children & themselves
- Is flexible, creative & enthusiastic
