Are you friendly, reliable, and passionate about providing great customer service? We are looking for a Food Service Assistant to join our dedicated catering team at Loughborough College.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, vibrant college canteen, helping to deliver a positive dining experience for our students and staff on a temporary basis of 12 month FTC. Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of customer service at all times and assist in the daily running of 1909 Shop, Box Office, or Campus Kitchen.
Your responsibilities will include, serving customers, handling cash, and maintaining kitchen standards. You will have a good awareness of food allergens and will be required to communicate regularly with the chefs about allergens and ingredients.
You will also support with internal catering, stock rotation and maintaining cleanliness, kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards across all areas.
The hours are Monday to Friday 07:00 – 15:00 with the occasional Saturday when the college has an open day. If you have experience of working in a similar environment and are looking for your next challenge then please get in touch
