HR&OD – Shaping our Vision and Workforce

Take your next step in you HR career and join us as an Assistant Business Partner or as an Associate Business Partner playing a vital role in shaping Wiltshire Council’s workforce strategy. This is your chance to work closely with senior leaders, influence key decisions, support employee development and help share an inclusive and innovative workforce.

As an Assistant Business Partner, you will support Strategic Business Partners and other colleagues within HR to deliver workforce strategies that help shape the future of our council services. You will work on projects that improve employee engagement, talent management, and organisational design. You will also analyse workforce data, contribute to policy development, and help services make informed decisions about their people.

As an Associate Business Partner, you will closely support Strategic Business Partners to deliver effective people strategies. You will support structure reviews, organisational design and support role description development. You’ll build strong relationships with senior managers, offering expert guidance on workforce planning, talent management and organisational development. You’ll lead the development of innovative, evidence-based workforce action plans, ensuring our council is prepared to meet future challenges.

This is a great opportunity for someone with HR experience who’s ready to take the next step. You’ll be supported by experienced HR professionals and have the chance to support specific projects, build strong relationships across the council, and develop your strategic HR skills.
