About the role
Do you have the skills and experience to engage and build positive trusting relationships with parents, children, and young people to inspire them to make worthwhile changes and improve life opportunities?
As Children’s Services are improving, exciting new opportunities have opened in the Safeguarding Service based in the Northampton area. We are looking to recruit a Family Support Worker to be part of the team building meaningful relationships with children and their families helping them to grow, prosper and achieve.
The role will be based in Northampton but you will be required to move effectively across the county and beyond if required.

About you
You are self-motivated and have the ability and skills to provide key pieces of direct work to children and families and to work with multi agency colleagues.
You are enthusiastic, highly motivated, with the ability to work both independently and in a team and have experience of working directly with families and children.
You are able to support with assessment-based work and have good recording skills.
You have current experience in Family Support.
