About the role
Jasmine House is a Supported Living House based in the town of Ely Cambridgeshire and supports adults with a learning disabilities in keeping their lives independent and safe. We provide accommodation and support for 4 adults with learning disabilities. The service operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
The role of Support Worker is to enable adults with a disability to live as independently as possible and to enjoy lifestyles as close to those enjoyed by other members of the community. We support and empower individuals to enhance the quality of their life, maximise potential and to continue to promote and develop independence skills within their home.

About you
You will have previous experience of supporting a person with a disability and a qualification in Health and Social Care or similar at Level 2 or above.
You will have excellent communication skills and IT skills as well as a proficient level of written and spoken English for the purposes of case recording and to enable you to work towards the Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care if you do not already hold this qualification.
You will also need the ability to demonstrate awareness and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion, and the Mental Capacity Act as well as the need for safety and confidentiality in the role.
