IKEA Exeter are looking to welcome a Visual Merchandiser to their team.A Visual Merchandiser at IKEA designs and maintains attractive product displays, implements store layout plans, collaborates on merchandising strategies, and stays updated on home furnishing trends. Planned interviews will be between 27 October and 09 November. WHAT WE OFFER • Start date: 22 and 23 November 2025.• Starting salary pro-rated for part-time hours is £20,309 per annum, based on competence and experience (full-time equivalent salary is £26,401 per annum). Please note there is scope at a later point to potentially to move to full-time.• Part-time, 30 hours a week working 5 days per week. Ordinarily Monday to Friday, however, working 1 in 5 Sundays is expected as part of the role. Shifts will start at 07:00am in the morning until 13:00pm in the afternoon.• We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview. This is a retail role, where you will be happy to work around the shopfloor.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY • Use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions in the store by working with store layout, range presentation and vitality.• Understanding the local market to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect a wide variety of styles, price levels, meet the many individual tastes and exceed our visitor’s expectations. • Collaborate with the Communication & Interior Design team and other functions, act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities and understand the impact of actions on the financial results.• Working with the commercial calendar to implement range changes.WE CARE FOR THE PEOPLE It takes the diversity of thought, background, and culture to make great ideas a reality.
