Position Overview

12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT – MATERNITY COVERSeeking a highly commercial and detail‑oriented Buyer for a fixed‑term contract. This role is responsible for selecting & managing product assortments that drive sales, optimise profitability, and support ongoing brand growth.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of customer needs, market trends, regional nuances, and broader business strategy.

The role will work in close partnership with Planning, Merchandising, and key cross‑functional teams to deliver a compelling, data‑driven, and financially sound product offering.

  • Execute strategies that tie back to building & curating seasonal product assortment with informed decision‑making.
  • Ensure the assortment reflects regional opportunities and customer needs.
  • Balancing logic & magic between product & financials.
  • Monitor weekly sales performance, identify risks and opportunities, and take action to optimise results.
  • Partner with Planning to manage OTB, inventory levels, and product flow.
  • Drive in‑season actions to maximise sell thru & sales
  • Work closely with Planning, Merchandising, Creative, Store teams, and Marketing to ensure commercial alignment and product storytelling.
  • Communicate assortment decisions, delivery updates, and trading insights across teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong excel, word, & power point skills required.
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
  • Concrete passion for Diversity & Inclusion value.
  • Excitement about teamwork and straight talk
  • Previous experience in buying and/or merchandising—preferably within fashion sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Commercially minded with a strong sense of product and customer insight.
  • Market & trend awareness
