Area Manager (Shunter) – Littlehampton, Train Crew Depot – CricklewoodÂ
Currently looking to recruit to Area Manager (Shunter) for our Littlehampton and Cricklewood Depots.
As the Area Manager you will be accountable for the safe and effective delivery of shunting operations at Engineering locations along the specified route.
We are looking for someone who can bring the following knowledge, skills and experience to these roles:-
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of company standards and procedures concerning operational safety
- Knowledge of regulatory and standards framework concerning railway operations
- Knowledge of company standards and procedures concerning rostering
- Familiar with the depot operating environment
Skills:
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Sound I.T literate (using Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Access)
- Sound organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess or achieve Shunter competency within 6 months of appointment
Experience:
- Sound knowledge of working in a railway operational environment
- Experience in promoting cultural change and delivering continuous improvement.
