Location: University of London – Garden Halls, WC1H 9EN

Rate of Pay: £32,531.20 per annum

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, 5/7, mixture of early and late shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30,  12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with company standards.
  • Take ownership of a designated kitchen section during service.
  • Support the Head Chef and Catering Manager with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
  • Manage stock effectively, minimise food waste, and ensure correct stock rotation.
  • Support the training and development of junior kitchen team members.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Deliver excellent food quality and service at all times.
