“Find your role”
As Controllership Assistant Accountant – Property and Technology, you will combine your accounting knowledge with communication and prioritisation skills to ensure that we maintain a strong control environment and accurate reporting of the Property and Technology P&Ls and Fixed asset/Lease accounting. You will have responsibility for:

Monthly and annual reporting of key property and technology expense lines

Supporting the accounting for the key lease and capital areas, including management of a £10bn asset register and £3bn lease registers

Reconciliation of Balance Sheets on a monthly basis including resolving issues with stakeholders

Business partnering with multiple teams across finance and beyond

Driving process improvement and efficiencies through the use of digital tools and automation

We are looking for a part qualified accountant with progress toward a professional accounting designation (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
You should also have the following:

Able to effectively work independently, manage and prioritising competing tasks and deliverables

Great analytical skills, problem solving and an eye for detail

Proficient in the use of Excel; experience in use of SAP and digital analytics tools is desirable

Confidence liaising with stakeholders outside of finance

Able to think laterally, challenge the status quo to drive efficiencies across processes
