About the Role

We are a small and successful team looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to teach on our Catering courses at our Buxton campus. This full-time position will deliver culinary skills to study programme and adult learners across Levels 1, 2 and 3.

With our seven industry-standard kitchens and our brand-new Harpurs Bistro, you’ll have access to state-of-the-art facilities and the opportunity to inspire the next generation of culinary professionals. You’ll design and deliver engaging teaching sessions, assess learner progress, and support students to achieve high-quality learning outcomes.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll contribute to curriculum development, take part in extra-curricular and promotional events, and maintain strong industry links. You’ll also play an active role in safeguarding and ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all learners. This role is a chance to make a real impact—helping students develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need for successful careers in the hospitality and catering sector.

About You

You’re an enthusiastic and inspiring educator with experience of delivering teaching or training to post-16 learners, and a passion for raising aspirations. You bring strong industry knowledge, highly developed communication skills, and the ability to engage learners in achieving their goals.

Organised and adaptable, you’re confident working both independently and as part of a small team. You have well-developed administrative skills, excellent time management, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Holding (or working towards) a recognised teaching qualification, you’re ready to share your expertise, support learner progression, and uphold the highest standards in teaching and learning.
