Job Description

We are currently seeking a newly or part-qualified accounting professional to join our vibrant Financial Reporting team where you’ll be tasked with crafting monthly and annual results, as well as regulatory returns. Collaborate across multiple sites and business units to ensure accuracy and control in our reporting processes.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to develop their career while continuing to learn / upskill.

What you will do:

  • Support monthly financial reporting for the esure group, including data checks, movement analysis, and journal entries.
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline for esure trading companies.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records to support reported results, collaborating with other finance team members as needed.
  • Aid in Solvency II reporting, including quarterly and annual QRT returns, SFCR, and RSR pre-submission checks.
  • Stay updated on technical accounting developments, applying new knowledge to support the wider team.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and tasks advised

Qualifications

We’d love you to have:

  • An individual studying towards or newly qualified in a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA)
  • A high standard of both written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate digital literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Good problem solving abilities
  • Drive for results and curiosity
