You will be joining an organisation that has treated 500,000 patients to date and is opening a new shared service in Poland to support our global operations.

We are recruiting a General Ledger Accountant for our growing business to develop and maintain international accounting standards, focusing on consolidation. This role is hybrid, based in Warsaw with an expectation to be in the office 4 times a month 

The Role

  • Compile Oviva's financial data from various entities and countries for monthly group overview.

  • Ensure accurate recording of transactions and rectify any discrepancies found.

  • Prepare timely financial reports per German and Swiss GAAP standards.

  • Manage international accounts and funds considering currency exchange and tax implications.

  • Maintain corporate financial documents for compliance and transparency.

  • Establish and uphold internal controls for reliable and compliant financial processes.

  • Coordinate with tax advisors and auditors during audits.

  • Contribute payroll expertise to assigned finance projects.

About You

  • Cross-border consolidation experience, proficient in accounting principles and financial processes.

  • Proficiency in navigating and utilising ERP systems.

  • Strong English skills for effective communication in an international team.

  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing to various finance and payroll tasks.

  • Exceptional organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and staying updated on regulations and best practices.
