Searcys are looking for a Hospitality Team Leader to join the team at the Inner Temple.

As our Hospitality Team Leader, you will ensure a smooth and efficient service of the catering department, supporting with the daily operation, staff training and onboarding.

The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple situated on the banks of the Thames, is one of the few remaining Georgian style event halls in the City of London. That teamed with its surroundings of a three-acres a stunning garden, it offers a unique backdrop to a wide variety of events

Job Description

The Hospitality Team Leader will be responsible for the management and execution of smaller internal and external events, as well as supporting on larger events.

Salary: £29,650, plus paid overtime

Hours: 40 hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • To brief teams at the start of each service or event to ensure all tasks are allocated accordingly.
  • To manage the team members per shift or event and ensure all aspects of the function sheet have been actioned and prepared.
  • To prepare and deliver food and beverages to guests in designated meeting spaces.
  • To be able to work without supervision and take initiative over duties.
  • To be responsible for laundry and other suppliers, arranging deliveries and collections.
  • To assist with daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
  • To manage and control stock levels in all serveries and perform stock takes.



Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Supportive team player.
  • Demonstrate high level of organisation.
  • Excellent record keeping and ability to use a computer is desirable.
  • Passion for the food and beverage industry.
