Are you passionate about M&S Food and experienced in Space, Range & Display (SRD) planning?
We’re looking for a proactive SRD Planner, who is a solutions-focused individual to lead the development and implementation of SRD strategies across our international partners. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in introducing and embedding the use of SRD systems globally, with a strong emphasis on enabling data-driven decision making. This role will initially support our partners in mapping store space, equipment, and layouts to enable accurate micro-planning. NB: Although this role is based at our Paddington Support Office a minimum of three days a week some overseas travel will be required to either our Distribution Centres in the UK or internationally.
What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Own the ranging process to ensure compelling and commercially viable ranges are proposed and displayed in line with brand standards
- Agree ranging and planograms with the partners, considering local product restrictions and work with them on implementation and adherence, so we are complaint
- Accountable for the management of critical path to ensure all functions involved meet the required timelines
- Analyse data to review sales to support strategic decisions and use the insights gained to refine and shape future ranging and guide effective product cascades
- Collaborate with the International Product/UK Winning Choices and Supply Chain & Logistics teams to align on product changes and understand shipping timelines, ensuring accurate and timely planograms’ execution across markets.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include:
- Experience of working in Space Range & Display within either Foods or manufacturing with a good understanding of the process and systems used
- Ability to accurately analyse and interpret systems data and actively manage the data using Excel and PowerPoint
- A highly motivated who is driven to succeed and thrives in a high performing environment and can work with time critical timescales
- An effective communicator who can build relationships convey points of view in a compelling and engaging manner. With the ability to initiate and build positive relationships with business partners across different functions both internally and externally
