Position Overview
12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT – MATERNITY COVER
the Associate Buyer in Pricing will join the Brand Positioning team to be part of a very dynamic cross-brand and cross-channel function, embedded within EMEA Buying, Planning and Allocation Team.
The Associate Buyer in Pricing will be the key contact on any price related matters, holding the necessary business knowledge on the topic to help and guide various teams.
This role will provide exposure to different business functions, including Planning, Buying, Data Analytics and IT. It will suit an analyst mindset, working in a FMCG, distribution or fashion retailing company.

- Perform operational price activities to ensure correct price positioning, holistic accuracy & alignment
- Analyze pricing data (internal and external) to provide insights, trends and recommendations
- Monitor currency fluctuations and FX rates and recommend price adjustments as necessary
- Influence pricing tactics and strategies
- Maintain, improve and adapt price performance monitoring tools
- Manage local new price setting, exception requests & communication with relevant stakeholders
- Suggest process and operational improvements
- Analyze and assess impact of potential price changes
- Support teams on any price related topic
- Collaborate with operational teams to identify new ways of working
- Collaborate with IT & Data Analytics teams to identify solutions leveraging best in class technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess E2E change impact
- Critical thinker & creative problem-solver
- Self-starter; highly motivated and organized
- Attention to detail; able to maintain good accuracy levels
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners
- Thrives in a fast-paced & dynamic environment
- High level of computer literacy (intermediate / advanced level Excel)
