Calling Snr Chef de Parties or Junior Sous’s! Join our Staff Dining team!
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join our busy staff dining operation. This site serves up to 1,300 customers onsite during peak midweek service and has a strong reputation for fresh, healthy, and innovative food offerings.
Working alongside an experienced kitchen brigade including the Head Chef and Sous Chef, this is an excellent opportunity for a strong Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in their career and develop within a supportive, progression-focused team environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of high-quality breakfast and lunch services
- Contributing to menu development with fresh, healthy, and innovative ideas
- Maintaining excellent food standards, presentation, and consistency
- Supporting and motivating junior team members within the brigade
- Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met
- Covering across both chef and kitchen porter duties when required
- Managing stock rotation, deliveries, and minimising waste
- Helping maintain a positive and efficient kitchen culture during high-volume service
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Experience as a strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef
- A genuine passion for food, with strong knowledge of modern, healthy, and innovative dishes
- The ambition to progress and develop your culinary career
- Flexibility to support different areas of the kitchen operation when needed
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Previous contract catering experience is essential
