We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Wolviston, United Kingdom. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring a smooth food service experience for our customers.

  • Assist in basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Support chefs and other kitchen staff in their daily tasks
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items to minimise waste
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, keeping the storage areas organised
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene practices to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Help with the set-up and breakdown of kitchen stations as needed
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to safely use and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
  • Food hygiene certificate is desirable
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
