People Partner (6 month fixed term contract) – Best Food Logistics

We’re currently recruiting for a dedicated People Partner to join our dynamic team within our Best Food Logistics business.

This role will be based in Royton supporting the site and also our Central Functions.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies that drive business growth
- Provide expert advice on complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with policies and employment law
- Manage talent, support development, and succession planning
- Work on organisational design and change management initiatives
- Use data to support people-focused initiatives
- Champion colleague engagement, wellbeing, and diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Focus on performance and absence management
- Maintain strong relationships with Trade Union representatives
This role is initially on a 6 month basis but has the possibility for extension or becoming a permanent position.
- CIPD Level 5 would be advantageous but not essential
- Strong people partnering experience
- Experience with Trade Unions and ideally in a blue-collar environment
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Knowledge of employment law and employee relations management
- A commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion
- People Management experience
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, such as distribution or retail
Shift Hours: 37.5 per week hrs per week (Monday – Friday 08.00am – 16.00pm)
