Role: Ofsted Registered Children’s Home Manager
Pay rate:
£44,000 – £50,000 per annum + bonus structure with the potential to earn up to £8,500

Essential requirements: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent. Level 5 must be complete or in progress.  A minimum of 2 years experience in residential child care (within the last 5 years).  A minimum of 12 months managerial/supervisory in care. Full UK driving licence. The right to work in the UK. Due to industry regulations, applicants must be over 21.

Esland are embarking on an exciting period of growth and are therefore looking for a committed, diligent Registered Children’s Home Manager to join us on this journey.

This is the perfect role for a an experienced  deputy manager that wants to take the next step, or a home manager that is looking for a new challenge.


Applicants must meet the essential requirements listed above, as well as possessing a thorough knowledge of Ofsted regulations and expectations, relevant legislation and Quality Standards.

  • A minimum of 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children (within the last 5 years)
  • At least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role 
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
  • Candidates that hold a full, UK driving licence
  • Candidates must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a dedicated, positive and knowledgeable leader to join our new solo service based in Huddersfield.
 
The successful candidate will have direct knowledge of what is expected by Ofsted and other authorities/regulatory bodies.  The role will support all the home’s staff and external contacts to provide high quality residential care, education and other wrap around services, ensuring that they get the best outcomes for their young people.
