How we LEAD:
UMG is currently seeking to fill the role of Royalty Clerk Income Processing. In this role, you will be processing license income receipts received from other companies. Payments related to those statements must be processed as income and if applicable, must be shared with relevant UMG Artists/Participants to ensure that we are accurately reporting royalties to artists and third parties in accordance with the applicable agreements and licenses.
This position affords the right candidate exposure to all aspects of royalty reporting and many key players in the business space. The right candidate will have a passion for music and be hungry to learn and grow in the business of music.
How you’ll CREATE:

Analyze and process license income receipts for royalty obligations

Set up manual articles in accordance to royalty contracts

Process adjustments to the Royalty System, BRC (Back Royalty Calculation)

Process flow thru or out of cycle payments

Mainframe data entry
-
Assist with daily inquiries in a timely manner

Maintain various detailed logs

Provide supporting documents to Audit

Other duties as assigned

Experience with Royalty Accounting a plus

4-year college degree preferred
