The Shift Leader supervises daily operations to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Schedules and supervises staff. Maintains the restaurant standard in both safety and security.

Responsibilities of a Subway Shift Supervisor/Team Leader

Food preparation including bread and cookie baking

Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards

Customer service, till use and store cleanliness

Stock Control

Checking in deliveries
-
Coaching newer or less experienced Sandwich Artists™

Opening and closing the store to a high standard

Delivering brand excellence
Experience:
- Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable and in a supervisory role. Excellent communication skills; especially verbal and a winning attitude is required
