Senior Sous Chef
Location: London | Full-Time | Staff Dining | £21.16 per hour
We’re looking for an ambitious Senior Sous Chef with a strong contract-catering background to join a large London staff-dining operation.
The focus is on delivering fresh, creative and consistently good food at volume, with well-dressed plates and strong attention to presentation. Alongside the daily staff-dining offer, you’ll support a varied hospitality and events calendar featuring canapés, bowl food and larger functions.
You’ll join at an exciting stage, helping to build and develop a brand-new kitchen team. This is an ideal opportunity for a Sous Chef who wants to grow into a future Head Chef position, take on more responsibility and play an important part in shaping the operation.
What you’ll be doing

Helping lead the kitchen and daily staff-dining service

Building, training and developing a new kitchen team

Supporting hospitality and events delivery

Bringing fresh ideas and energy to the food offer

Maintaining food quality, consistency and presentation

Managing food safety, hygiene and allergen standards

Supporting costings, stock control and occasional administration

Helping drive the commercial performance of the kitchen
What we’re looking for
Strong staff-dining experience is essential, alongside a solid background in contract catering. You’ll be an experienced Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef who is comfortable delivering food at volume and leading a busy kitchen team.
You’ll be hands-on, commercially minded and confident developing others. You’ll also bring creativity, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to progress into a Head Chef role as the operation grows.
