We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Cost Manager at one of our growing offices in the North of England – Manchester or Leeds. Joining a supportive network as part of a national team, you can expect to receive valuable training, guidance and genuine scope for career development.
 
We work across sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, residential, defence and heritage. Your focus will be with the preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, contract documents and reports. You will be building on existing client relationships and therefore ensuring commissions are delivered on time.

About You

Our ideal Cost Manager must have: 
  • Previous experience delivering cost management of building projects from feasibility/option studies through to detailed cost planning and post contract cost management.
  • Thorough knowledge of the principal standard forms of building contracts, including JCT and NEC3
  • A commitment to delivering a high-quality client experience
  • Multi-sector background gained in consultancy or construction environment
 
It would be nice for you to have:
  • MRICS / Chartered Surveyor status
  • A professional and compassionate attitude
  • Excellent client communication skills, report writing skills and presentation skills
